The countdown begins...

It's cold today in San Francisco, foggy and overcast when it's supposed to be sunny and warm. I'm wearing running tights and a jacket when I'm supposed to be getting tan in my sports bra and spandex shorts. June weather, where are you? Not in SF, that's for sure.

Mark Twain once said, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." Wish I'd known that before I moved here...

While it's cold and cloudy outside, my apartment is warm and cozy, my bed beckons, and I'd love nothing more than to curl up with a mug of tea and a good book. But instead, I lace up my shoes. Grab my Garmin. Head out the door for a run.

Why?

The Olympic Trials are just 1 year away. The countdown begins...

What got you out the door today? I'd love to hear from you! :)
