Today seems to be "Inspiring Blog Post Day" - three running friends recently updated their blogs and their posts were so great, I had to share them with you. Take a moment to check out these inspiring writers/runners!
Cecily Lemmon-Lew
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/705374042/Reasons-to-Run-Running-sponsors.html
Cecily and I raced each other in high school (Vacaville HS vs. Davis HS) and again in college (BYU vs. UCD). A talented writer who truly has a way with words, Cec is finishing up a stellar career at BYU, where she is a 2-time All-American in XC and Track.
Brooke Wells

Brooke and I have circled the track together many times, working together through 25 tough laps. While she's a beast on the track, Brooke's true talent lies in the marathon. She ran 2:37 at the Chicago Marathon last year, well under the Olympic Trials A Standard. Brooke has battled an injury as of late, but she's dealt with it with grace and composure.
Tom Kloos

Tom is a member of the Bay Area Track Club and the Assistant Coach at USF. When he's not coaching, recruiting, writing workouts, or planning races, Tom is training. He's chasing an Olympic Trials berth in the steeplechase. Like Brooke, Tom is working through an injury right now. But knowing his dedication, my money's on him to be on the line at the Trials in Eugene next summer!
